Did you think to blog/vote?
Just letting you know...I actually thought about blogging today. Whew! Did you vote? Speaking of voting, did you have electronic or paper ballots? Did you have to wait in line? I had a paper ballot and I walked right in and had no wait at all. Went very smoothly. Let's just hope the next 4 years have the same success!

I voted absentee! I am glad you voted! Too bad it turned out how it did! :(
paper (optical scan)& no lines.... couldn't believe it!
oh, but did have to wait FOREVER for Steven to finish. I swear than man is the same whether its ordering from a menu or voting!
Yes, I voted. Paper. While approaching the last booth a woman asked me where I was going. She thought I was trying to leave with my blank ballot. No, just trying to find a place to park my stroller and 2 year old.
Yes, I voted! I had a mail in ballot that I did not mail in but, was able to fill it out at home, seal the envelope and walk right on passed all those people waiting! I am talking SWEEEEEET!
I did a mail in ballot, which by the way, is the most awesome thing EVER. It was mailed it to me, I filled it out in the comfort of my pajamas, while eating a whole lot of those little fun size candybars, mmmm..., then took a tiny stroll to the end of the driveway and put in the the mailbox, working off the candybars I ate in doing so. Easy like Sunday morning.
I don't know what 'dawn' (if that is your real name?) is talking about. I think that if it what the majority want then it turned out the way it should have. If you have a problem with it you should have been out knocking on doors telling people to vote for your pick. That is how Colorado swung left, because someone knocked every other hour. And just look at Travis, every vote counts, it took three extra days to find out but the state went Red, so either way he might have voted it put it on the fence.
Coming from a history major I will let you all know that the most important vote was not the vote for president, but for your local reps. these are the people that make the laws... not the man on Pennsylvania Ave., but instead its CONGRESS!!I put a link in this comment for a easy learning experience for everyone: http://bensguide.gpo.gov/9-12/lawmaking/index.html.
If you want "change" get a senator or Rep that will back you up, don't complain about the President he doesn't make the laws.

The mail-in voting sounds awesome! Yes, it was way close in Missouri. Didn't they say it is the first time that a Democrat has been voted President without the help of Missouri? Interesting... Anyway, thanks for the link Cosmo. So glad we have you - I say Cosmo for President...no, wait! Cosmo for State Rep! Seriously, I think you would do a great job! The election has been made, let's just pray for a good outcome! In the meantime, I am enjoying lower gas prices (not that they are related to the president-elect)!
