KU National Champions

Finally!!!
Over the last twenty years, do you know how many brackets I have filled out with Kansas winning it all only to be let down time and time again? Every year Marian and I fill out a bracket and almost ever year Marian wins because I pick KU to win it all or at least make it to the Final Four. This year we were so busy the NCAA tournament started before we could get a bracket done so Marian said if Kansas makes it to the Final Four she'll plan the special date if not then I will. Wow! They won it all! I can't wait to see what my special surprise is this year :)

I have a two theories why KU won... First, I believe it is because I didn't jinx them by filling out a bracket. I don't know if I will ever do a bracket again. Second, more importantly is because I went to Priesthood meeting Saturday night instead of watching them play UNC. What else could account for such a spectacular showing Saturday night against UNC! The Monday night win was probably because of Steven's faithfulness in holding FHE before the game.

Mosiah 4:27
And see that all these things are done in wisdom and order... it is expedient that he should be diligent, that thereby he might win the prize; therefore, all things must be done in order.

A post from Marian...

All right, here's just a little post to get me started and I promise not to be too wordy (like Cosmo) ha ha! What do I like about where I live...The number one thing would have to be springtime..and the fall. It starts to warm up and we have beautiful days for the last half of March and through May before it starts to get humid. It stays warm through October. This makes for some great time spent outside, for playing at the park with my kids, planting my garden, and walking with friends. I'll have to post pictures of all this. I love the people and right now I am taking an exercise class two times a week (did you know there were so many muscles in your body...I didn't...ouch!) It is a great class and I am starting to tone up...a little...yeah! I have started walking with my friend and there are a lot of great hills in our subdivision as well as the pond. Love it! Oh, I also love the church out here...our bishop is so hot! I guess I shouldn't say that...but since he's my husband I can get away with that. Seriously, though, I have never seen people and communities pull together as they have for our friends who just lost their 3 1/2 month old baby. Is that enough for a start? I will be checking back for the next topic. Now...respond away!
